I decided to check out the new tanks, shirts and dresses at Target and there were so many cute things! I think my overall takeaway is that Universal Thread is the best brand for my body, style, etc. Here is what I tried on:
Rose in the USA Graphic Tank – $14.99. This was cute but definitely fits on the smaller side. This is an XL.
Universal Thread Embroidered Tank – Not online yet but will update when it is. I loved this! It was the perfect mix of structured but also flowy. This was an XL, I could also fit a L.
Knox Rose Boho Dress – on clearance for $14.98. I loved the details on this but I just think the super flowy bell sleeves would bother me. This is an XL, I thought it was a bit oversized on me.
Knox Rose Embroidered Dress – $29.99. This was very pretty in theory but something was off about the fit of the top. I think it would fit better if you detached the lining from the exterior portion of the dress. This is an XL, I thought it fit well.
Universal Thread Stripe Dress ($27.99) – this was super cute but I’ve never bought a midi and wasn’t sure if the style works for me. This is a size Large.
Universal Thread Shorts and Ava & Viv Eyelet Top ($16.99 each) – I normally dislike fitted jean shorts but these pink ones were so cute. The top is an X and the shorts are a 14 (they’re very stretchy, I’m sure I could do a 12 as well, they just didn’t have that to try on). I loved the tank, you could wear that with anything!
